CLINICAL AND EXTERNSHIP FACULTY RECEIVE OFFER TO PUBLISH ARTICLE ON VIRTUAL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING December 2020 — Lucy Johnston-Walsh, Clinical Professor and Director of the Children’s Advocacy Clinic and Alison Lintal, Director of Career Services and Internship Programs co-authored an article entitled, “Tele-Lawyering and The Virtual Learning Experience: Finding the Silver Lining for Remote Hybrid Externships & Law Clinics after the Pandemic” which has been accepted for publication in the Akron Law Review. IMPORTANT UNIVERSITY REPORT DEAN CONWAY CO-AUTHORED IS RELEASED FOR COMMENT December 2020 — Danielle M. Conway, who is the Dean and Donald J. Farage Professor of Law at Penn State Dickinson Law, serves as Co-Chair of the Select Penn State Presidential Commission on Racism, Bias, and Community Safety. PROFESSOR PRINCE’S TWEET ABOUT JEOPARDY LEGAL ERROR CITED IN LEADING BLOG December 2020 — On November 27, 2020, Professor Samantha Prince was watching Jeopardy and was excited to see the “Let’s Start a Small Business” category. An incorrect answer by a contestant, which Jeopardy allowed, led to a tweet by Professor Prince, which was thereafter cited by Creighton Law School Dean Joshua Fershee in his Business Law Prof Blog. PROFESSOR BADISSY IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK PACIFIC CEO FORUM November 2020 — Sharing his insights on the regulatory and economic benefits of greater transparency around power purchasing agreements (PPAs), Professor Mohamed Rali Badissy was a keynote speaker at the 2020 Pacific CEO Forum. The Pacific CEO Forum is an annual conference that brings together representatives from energy regulators in the Pacific Islands, project developers, and partners governments/multilateral institutions, hosted by the Asian Development Bank. DEAN CONWAY’S $125,000 SCHOLARSHIP GIFT CONTINUES TO INSPIRE OTHER LAW DEANS November 2020 — Dean Danielle M. Conway’s $125,000 gift to the Dickinson Law Future Fund not only helps law students at Penn State Dickinson Law, but it has indirectly helped law students at other schools as well.
