Sara Gerke PROFESSOR SARA GERKE CO-AUTHORS A NEW PIECE IN THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HEALTH SERVICES

October 2021 — Professor Sara Gerke co-authors a new piece in the International Journal of Health Services on what the United States can learn from the pharmaceutical pricing strategies adopted by Germany. Her co-author is a Professor of Law at Suffolk University. Full story

Jeffrey Dodge DEAN DODGE SELECTED TO JOIN INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY FOR THE STUDY OF THE JURISPRUDENCE OF THE FAMILY

October 2021 — Jeffrey A. Dodge, Associate Dean for Academic & Student Services, Assistant Professor, and Joseph H. Goldstein Faculty Scholar, was recently selected for membership in the International Academy for the Study of the Jurisprudence of the Family (IASJF). IASJF membership requires an application sponsored by a current member and the approval of two-thirds of the members. The composition of IASJF represents the broad diversity of global scholars focused on the jurisprudence of the family. Full story

Amy C. Gaudion PROFESSOR GAUDION SELECTED TO PRESENT AT 2021 CYBERSECURITY LAW AND POLICY SCHOLARS CONFERENCE

October 2021 — Professor Amy C. Gaudion was selected to present at the 2021 Cybersecurity Law and Policy Scholars Conference. The symposium took place October 1-2 2021, and was hosted by the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Professor Gaudion presented her work-in-progress, “Answering the Cyber Oversight Call.” Full story

Sarah Williams PROFESSOR WILLIAMS INVITES SHELL OIL SECURITIES COUNSEL JOSEPH BABITS FOR A VIRTUAL VISIT TO DICKINSON LAW

October 2021 — Prof. Sarah Williams recently invited U.S. Securities Counsel for Royal Dutch Shell, plc as a guest lecturer in Dickinson Law’s Federal Securities Regulation class. Mr. Babits discussed his journey from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to one of the largest gas companies in the world. He shared his experiences defending Shell in U.S. government investigations, and the company’s efforts to address climate change. Full story
