DEAN DODGE ESSAY ACCEPTED FOR NEW BOOK ON SUPPORTING FIRST-GENERATION LAW STUDENTS September 2021 — Jeffrey A. Dodge, Associate Dean for Academic & Student Services, Assistant Professor, and Joseph H. DEAN DODGE PRESENTS AT ANNUAL SEALS CONFERENCE August 2021 — Jeffrey A. Dodge, Associate Dean for Academic & Student Services, Assistant Professor, and Joseph H. Goldstein Faculty Scholar, presented at the Southeastern Association of Law Schools Annual Conference. His presentation, titled The Unfilled Promise of Obergefell for Children of Same-Sex Parents: Advancing Federal Nondiscrimination Laws for Familial Association, proposes amendments to the Equality Act to protect children in LGBTQIA+ headed households. DEAN DODGE APPOINTED CHAIR-ELECT OF AALS STUDENT SERVICES SECTION July 2021 — Jeffrey A. Dodge, Associate Dean for Academic & Student Services, Assistant Professor, and Joseph H. Goldstein Faculty Scholar, was recently appointed to serve as chair-elect of Association of American Law Schools Student Services Section. ASSOCIATE DEANS DODGE AND SAIDMAN-KRAUSS SERVE AS KEYNOTE SPEAKERS AT PENN STATE’S LEAD THE PRIDE November 2020 — On November 7, 2020, Associate Deans Jeffrey A. Dodge and Bekah Saidman-Krauss served as the keynote speakers at Penn State’s Lead the Pride. Their keynote address was titled “Leadership and the First Amendment: Making Your Voice Heard.” Their remarks introduced attendees to the legal framework of the First Amendment and its application to college campuses, events, and leadership. full story |

THE IMPACT OF INVOLVEMENT WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICAN LAW SCHOOLS January 2020 — In early January each year, law professors and administrators from around the country gather to discuss current legal issues, engage as a community, and learn from each other to advance our teaching and scholarship. The Association of American Law Schools (AALS) annual meeting attracts hundreds, maybe even thousands, of attendees each year and is a welcomed way to begin the spring semester. Full story |
