Tuition & Scholarships
Penn State's Board of Trustees meets every summer to establish tuition rates and mandatory fees for the upcoming academic year. On July 20, 2018, the Board released the J.D. and LL.M. tuition rates for the 2017-18 academic year. Additionally, our Office of Admissions and Financial Aid provides estimated costs of non-tuition related expenses to assist students with budgeting.

* Health insurance is mandatory at Penn State for international students and their accompanying dependents (spouse and/or children). For full information on requirements, please review the University Health Services website.
** The miscellaneous expenses amount includes allowances for clothing, laundry, medical expenses, recreation, and personal care.
LL.M. Scholarship Opportunities
EducationUSA centers are the U.S. Department of State‘s network of over 400 advising centers in 170 countries designed to assist local students find the appropriate college or university in the United States.
The Italian Student Loan Fund (Fondo per Studenti Italiani) grants financial assistance to Italian graduate students seeking to apply to LL.M. programs. Click here for application information.
The Taiwan Ministry of Education partners with Taiwanese cities to fund interest-free student loans for study abroad starting in 2013. The funds can be used for study at Penn State’s Dickinson Law. The purpose of the interest-free loan program is to encourage Taiwanese students from 20 to 40 years old to pursue advanced and professional studies overseas. Click here for application information.
Penn State University is one of only a few universities approved through the Universidades de Excelencia program. The scholarship program includes funding for tuition, fees, and many expenses. Click here for application information.
