Sign JOHN D. AND CATHERINE T. MacARTHUR FOUNDATION AWARDS $500,000 GRANT TO PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW’S ANTIRACIST DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE

August 2022 — Last year, Penn State Dickinson Law Dean and Donald J. Farage Professor of Law Danielle M. Conway unveiled a project to a close friend, Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, that had been long in the conception and planning stages. Conway instinctively knew that she could trust Roosevelt to give her honest and critical feedback. Conway outlined the concept for an institute offering organizations across the country systems design-based approaches to implementing antiracist practices, processes and policies throughout their functions. Building DICKINSON LAW HOSTS THIRD CONSECUTIVE NATIONAL DIVERSITY PIPELINE PROGRAM

July 2022 — For the third consecutive year, Penn State Dickinson Law was selected by the Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO) to host its annual Pre-Law Summer Institute (PLSI). This year’s virtual program was held May 23 through June 30. Funding for the program was provided through grants from CLEO and Penn State’s Equal Opportunity Planning Committee (EOPC). Read more

Building DICKINSON LAW’S KELLY RIMMER RECEIVES 2022 DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AWARD

June 24, 2022 — Director of Development and Alumni Affairs Kelly Rimmer received the 2022 Diversity and Inclusion Award from Penn State’s Division of Development and Alumni Relations during a division-wide awards ceremony in May held at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center on the University Park campus. Sign FAMILY CREATES BARRY J. NACE CLASS OF 1969 SCHOLARSHIP TO HONOR DEEP CONNECTIONS TO DICKINSON LAW

June 17, 2022 — Penn State Dickinson Law became a family affair for Barry J. Nace (class of 1969) and his youngest son, Matthew A. Nace (class of 2008). Both attended the Law School after graduating from Dickinson College as undergraduates. They shared a fondness for Carlisle and a passion for the law sparked by their professors and classmates.
