Samantha Prince PROFESSOR PRINCE PRESENTS HER RESEARCH AT NATIONAL BUSINESS LAW SCHOLARS CONFERENCE (VIA ZOOM)

June 2021 — Professor Samantha Prince presented her current research on modernizing the 401(k) plan to accommodate the modern transient workforce at the National Business Law Scholar Conference 2021 that was held via Zoom. Her presentation explained why 401(k) plan vesting schedules for employer contributions fail workers who change jobs frequently. Full story

Dermot Groome U.N. APPEALS CHAMBER AFFIRMS CONVICTION OF RATKO MLADIC, WHOSE PROSECUTION WAS LED BY PROFESSOR GROOME

June 2021 — On June 8, 2021, the Appeals Chamber of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia affirmed the trial judgment of General Ratko Mladić convicting him of inter alia Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity. Professor Dermot Groome led the prosecution of the trial. In addition to prosecuting General Mladić for the crime of Genocide, Groome also prosecuted the President of Serbia, Slobodan Milošević.
