About Williams

Laura H. Williams teaches Corporate Compliance. She takes a hands-on, practical approach to the subject, helping students understand the scope and complexity of this continuously changing field.

Williams is Associate Dean for Administration at Penn State Dickinson Law. Before coming to the Law School, Dean Williams served as President and CEO of Team Pennsylvania Foundation; Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Ahold USA, Inc., (parent of Giant Food Stores); as a Partner at McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC; and as an Executive Vice President of Keystone Financial, Inc. (now part of M&T Bank).

In addition to her professional activities, Dean Williams is a past chair of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber, is a board member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, is an executive committee member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession, and is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Foundation’s board of directors.

Dean Williams is a graduate of Dickinson College and Penn State Dickinson Law.
