Alumni Society Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Penn State Dickinson Law Alumni Society bolsters the Law School’s alumni program primarily through its partnership with the Office of Development & Alumni Affairs. Board members volunteer their time and expertise as advisors on such issues as career planning and admissions, serving as mentors to law students or offering helpful guidance to prospective and admitted law students. Others assist by organizing alumni events in their cities or regions, or by making leadership gifts toward the establishment of scholarships for students or endowments for faculty chairs.
The mission of the Dickinson Law Alumni Society is to advance the Law School’s goals and initiatives and promote its strategic plan; to collaborate with the President, the Dean, the Leadership Council, and the Dean’s Trusted Advisors in carrying out approved projects and programs; and to provide a meaningful connection between Penn State Dickinson Law and its alumni. Programs, events, and initiatives of the Alumni Society support this mission and endeavor to achieve the following:
- Maximize alumni impact and engagement on campus and nationwide
- Promote the personal and professional development of members
- Advance a culture of giving and support for the Law School
- Build and maintain forums for student and alumni interaction
