Professor Gaudion PROFESSOR GAUDION SELECTED TO PRESENT AT 49TH ANNUAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATIONS, INFORMATION, AND INTERNET POLICY (TPRC49)

September 2021 — Professor Amy C. Gaudion was selected to present at the 49th Annual Research Conference on Communications, Information, and Internet Policy, hosted by TPRC. Professor Donelson PROFESSOR DONELSON TO PRESENT AT UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS COLLEGE OF LAW FACULTY WORKSHOP SERIES

Dean Dodge DEAN DODGE ESSAY ACCEPTED FOR NEW BOOK ON SUPPORTING FIRST-GENERATION LAW STUDENTS

September 2021 — Jeffrey A. Dodge, Associate Dean for Academic & Student Services, Assistant Professor, and Joseph H. Goldstein Faculty Scholar, had his essay proposal, “Supporting First Generation Intersectional Identities by Creating Space for the LGBTQIA+ Community” accepted for publication with Carolina Academic Press in the book titled, “Fostering First Generation Success and Inclusion: A Guide for Law Schools.” Full story 

Professor Gaudion PROFESSOR GAUDION INVITED TO GIVE LECTURE AS PART OF U.S. ARMY HERITAGE AND EDUCATION CENTER'S 2021-22 SERIES ON CYBER WAR

September 2021 — Professor Amy C. Gaudion was invited to give an address as part of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center’s 2021-2022 Lecture Series on Cyber War. The lecture will take place on September 16, 2021, and is part of a year-long series examining cyber conflicts, and featuring other scholars, including Professor Peter Campbell of Baylor University, and Peter W. Singer, noted author and Strategist and Senior Fellow at New America. Full story

Professor Donelson PROFESSOR DONELSON INVITED TO PRESENT ON POLICING AT GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE FOR HUMANE STUDIES

Gary S. Gildin GILDIN PUBLISHES ON-LINE OPEN-SOURCE CIVIL LIBERTIES LITIGATION TEXTBOOK

September 2021 — Professor Gary S. Gildin has published Civil Liberties Litigation: Cases and Materials as an on-line, open-source textbook. The book addresses the layers of procedural and substantive doctrines that are triggered when a citizen files a civil action seeking to recover damages or equitable relief for deprivation of a right secured by the United States Constitution. Full story
