PROFESSOR EMERITA TERRY AUTHORS JOTWELL REVIEW REGARDING CLIMATE CHANGE AND LAWYER REGULATION October 2022 — Professor Emerita Laurel Terry recently published a JOTWELL review entitled, “Is Climate Change Really A Lawyer Regulation Issue?” She reviewed Professor Victor Flatt’s law review article entitled, “Disclosing the Danger: State Attorney Ethics Rules Meet Climate Change.” In doing so, she drew upon her work with an International Bar Association committee that prepared a paper entitled “Legal Services and Climate Change.” Full story |

MEDICAL-LEGAL PARTNERSHIP CLINIC STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN INAUGURAL “HEALTH EQUITY IMMERSION” WITH PENN STATE HEALTH MEDICAL RESIDENTS AND PENN STATE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE STUDENTS October 2022 — An interdisciplinary group of Penn State students, faculty, and medical residents boarded a bus in Hershey to embark on the inaugural Health Equity Immersion — a five-hour experience designed to teach participants about the social and political determinants that contribute to health disparities. Among the participants were students in the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic and Professor Medha D. Makhlouf, who co-developed the experience with colleagues at Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health. Full story |
