Medha Makhlouf PROFESSOR MEDHA MAKHLOUF ATTENDED CONVENING ON COMMUNITY HEALTH IN PERU

September 2024 — Professor Medha D. Makhlouf was selected to attend a Convening on Community Health hosted by the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity (AFHE), from September 9-13, in Lima, Peru. The Convening hosted twenty Senior Fellows whose work focuses on the role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in improving the health of communities. Full story

Sarah J. Williams PROFESSOR WILLIAMS PRESENTS HER CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECT ON AUDITOR REGULATION AT THE 2024 WOMEN IN LAW AND FINANCE CONFERENCE IN PHILADELPHIA

September 2024 — Professor Sarah Williams attended the 3rd Annual Women in Law and Finance Conference, co-sponsored by the Wharton Initiative on Financial Policy & Regulation and the U Penn Carey Law Institute for Law and Economics’ Women in Business Law Initiative in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 26-27. Professor Williams presented a draft of her current work-in-progress, Transparency Transition in Auditor Oversight, which is the third installment in Professor Williams’ exploration of the regulatory scheme created for public company auditors under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. September 2024 — Professor Emerita Laurel S. Terry is the author of two articles published in the Summer 2024 issue of The Bar Examiner. This magazine, which is sent to state supreme court justices, admissions officials, legal educators, and others, is published by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and “provides comprehensive, authoritative information on current issues.” Full story

September 2024 — Professor Prince’s co-authored essay, The Effects of 401(k) Vesting Schedules — in numbers, written with Timothy Azizkhan ’25, Luke Gorman ’25, and Cornell PhD candidate, Cassidy R. Prince, has been published by Yale Law Journal Forum as the lead article in Volume 134. Full story
