PROFESSOR PRINCE’S TWO OPEN-SOURCE ENTREPRENEURSHIP LAW COURSE BOOKS ADDED TO MERLOT REPOSITORY

Samantha PrinceJune 2022 — Professor Samantha Prince has authored open-source course books for her Entrepreneurship Law: Company Creation and Entrepreneurship Law: Operational Issues courses. Both books have recently been added to Merlot, a repository that provides access to open-source online learning materials. Merlot has nearly 100,000 learning resources in its vastly growing library.

Publication on Merlot broadens the potential reach of her work beyond her class at Dickinson Law to anyone who would like to use the materials.

Professor Prince received grants for the creation of both books through the Affordable Course Transformation (ACT) program offered through the Provost's charged and funded Open and Affordable Education Resources (OAER) Working group at Penn State University. Support for the development of the books was provided by Penn State's University Libraries and  Penn State Department of Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT).
