PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW FACULTY PARTICIPATE IN SEMINAR “IP AND INTERNATIONAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION: WHAT EVERY LAWYER AND CORPORATE COUNSEL NEEDS TO KNOW”

Conway and Professor Daryl Lim recently participated in the seminar “IP and International Dispute Resolution: What Every Lawyer and Corporate Counsel Needs to Know.” The program was jointly organized by Penn State Dickinson Law, the World IP Organization, and the IP Office of Singapore and consisted of two hybrid sessions in New York and Washington, D.C.

Throughout the program, a distinguished panel of experts from the United States and Singapore discussed:

  • The state of IP dispute resolution in the U.S. and at WIPO
  • Standard essential patents, biotechnology, and dispute resolution
  • IP mediation and arbitration strategies
  • Singapore IP Strategy 2030
  • Resolving crypto and blockchain disputes
  • Overlooked strategic aspects of DEI initiatives in dispute resolution.

According to Professor Lim, “Strategic thinking is essential when navigating IP disputes in an international environment.
