PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW ANNOUNCES NEW ENROLLMENT SERVICES SPECIALIST

Kristin ThomasAugust 21, 2023 — Penn State Dickinson Law is pleased to announce that Kristin L. Thomas has transitioned into the role of Enrollment Services Specialist in the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid as of August 21, 2023. Thomas previously served as the Career Services Coordinator at Dickinson Law.

“I am thrilled to welcome Kristin to the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid. From her prior work experiences in Dickinson Law’s Career Services Office and Office of Academic Affairs, Kristin brings a deep knowledge of the administrative inter-workings of the Law School to this new role. As well, her enthusiasm for the Dickinson Law community, top-notch organizational skills, and boundless capacity for empathy will serve her well as she transitions to admissions work. I admire Kristin’s work ethic and appreciate her positive outlook, so on a personal level, I am very much looking forward to working closely with her. I’m excited for what we can learn from one another as we recruit another fabulous cohort of future law students,” said Associate Dean for Admissions & Financial Aid Bekah Saidman-Krauss.

Prior to working in Dickinson Law’s Career Services Office, Thomas served as a coordinator in the Office of Academic Affairs. She also taught seventh grade science and worked as the lead toddler room teacher at a preschool. Thomas received her Bachelor of Science in Earth and Space Science Secondary Education from Juniata College and a Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration from Binghamton University.

This new role will give me the opportunity to learn new skills and better understand how the different departments at Dickinson Law work together to achieve the University mission and the Dickinson Law vision priorities.
