Terry attended the American Law Institute’s May 2023 Annual Meeting, which was held in Washington, D.C. PROFESSOR EMERITA LAUREL TERRY HONORS HER RULE OF LAW ROOTS May 2023 — Professor Emerita Laurel S. Terry recently had the opportunity to honor her “rule of law” roots in Washington, D.C. when her grandfather, who died in 1929, was belatedly honored. Professor Terry and her sisters were invited to attend a candlelight vigil on the National Mall where her grandfather’s name was read out. Full story |

PROFESSOR EMERITA TERRY ATTENDS 9TH CIRCUIT MEMORIAL HONORING JUDGE GOODWIN April 2023 — Professor Emerita Laurel S. Terry recently attended the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit’s memorial session honoring Judge Alfred T. Goodwin, for whom she clerked in 1980-81. When Chief Judge Emeritus Goodwin died on December 27, 2022, he was the oldest federal judge in the country, as well as the longest-serving current federal judge. Full story |
