About Gariepy
LTC Steven Gariepy has served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps for over twenty years, including multiple deployments to Afghanistan where he advised military commanders at the highest levels on international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and the use of force during multinational operations. Professor Gariepy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, his J.D. from Duquesne University, and his LL.M. in International Law from Columbia University.
