Why Dickinson Law?:
As a native Pennsylvanian, I chose Penn State Dickinson Law because of the Children’s Advocacy Clinic. I wanted to learn how to best advocate for the children of Pennsylvania. Through the Children’s Advocacy Clinic, I would gain hands-on experience in court while still a student. The Children’s Advocacy Clinic is important to me because the clinic brings together law, social work, medicine, and mental health to advocate across disciplines for families and children in Pennsylvania.

Trauma-Informed Lawyering
Advice for Prospective Law Students:
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.”

On Choosing A Law School:
For me, the tour and the people make the school. Penn State Dickinson Law stood out to me because I could walk up to students and ask them for directions, and students smiled at me and would wave.
