Life Before Dickinson Law:
I completed a law degree at the University of Suleimani and became a member of the Iraqi Bar Association in 2020, where I practiced law for three years in areas of family law, civil law, and immigration law while also volunteering with NGOs protecting the rights of migrants.

Career Focus:
I’m interested in international law, human rights, and personal status law. I’m looking forward to sharpening my focus on these areas and how they intersect in Iraqi Kurdistan where I was born and raised.

Why Dickinson Law?:
I chose Dickinson Law because of its reputation in legal studies, and its student-centered approach to legal education. I believe that it’s an ideal institution that will help me to develop skills to do advanced research in the future.
