“Qualifying Qualified Immunity:

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”

The Dickinson Law Review will present “Qualifying Qualified Immunity: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow,” beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 25 in the Apfelbaum Family Courtroom and Auditorium, Lewis Katz Hall, Dickinson Law. Members of academia, the bar, and the judiciary will offer unique perspectives on qualified immunity and its current impact on the field of constitutional rights litigation.

Each year, the Dickinson Law Review symposium brings together stakeholders in the legal community — including practitioners, academics, jurists, and law students — for scholarly dialogue about forthcoming or recently published articles.

Advance registration for the 2022 Dickinson Law Review Symposium is required. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Macon Bolling Allen Civil Rights and Transitional Justice Program at Penn State Dickinson Law, all registration is free. Registrants can attend in person or virtually.

The Macon Bolling Allen Civil Rights and Transitional Justice Program was established to support civil rights and transitional justice activities at Dickinson Law, particularly activities that serve juveniles from underrepresented populations to include children of color, children in the foster care system, and immigrants.

The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board has approved this program for 4.0 hours of substantive law, practice, and procedure credit and 0.0 hours of ethics, substance abuse, and professionalism credit. CLE credit can be earned by attending the symposium in person or by live webcast. Pre-registration is required.

In-person attendees must register by end of day Monday, March 21. Virtual attendees must register by end of day Thursday, March 24.  Register now!
