PROFESSOR TITICHIA JACKSON TO PRESENT AT 17TH ANNUAL NATIONAL BLACK PRE-LAW CONFERENCE AND LAW FAIR 2021

Titichia M. JacksonOctober 2021 — On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Professor Titichia Jackson will present at the 17th Annual National Black Pre-Law Conference and Law Fair 2021. Professor Jackson will discuss “African Americans and the Bar Exam: Overcoming the Obstacles of the Final Rite of Passage to Becoming a Lawyer.” The conference will take place virtually from November 18-21, 2021 and is the nation's premier information-sharing and networking empowerment event for aspiring Black lawyers.


Professor Titichia Jackson brings both legal practice experience and the practice of applying cognitive psychology in the classroom to her teaching. She collaborates with faculty to incorporate the learning concept of spaced repetition throughout Dickinson Law’s curriculum while training law students for the rigors of law school, the bar exam, and the practice of law. Professor Jackson teaches Dickinson Law’s summer supplemental bar preparation program and Fundamental Skills for the Bar Exam and provides individual academic success counseling to students. Prior to joining Dickinson Law, Professor Jackson taught courses and served as the director of bar preparation and support for North Carolina Central University School of Law and served as director of legal education for BARBRI, Inc.
