PROFESSOR LUCY JOHNSTON-WALSH PUBLISHES ARTICLE IN SPECIAL ISSUE OF FAMILY COURT REVIEW
November 2022 — Professor Lucy Johnston-Walsh recently published an article in Family Court Review entitled, “Dynamic Interdisciplinary Exercise for Juvenile and Family Law Students.” The article describes the value of involving law students in a dynamic experiential exercise within either clinical programs or doctrinal classes, specifically in areas of family and juvenile law. The article also describes the value to students and faculty of incorporating professionals from other disciplines into the exercise. As students learn the value of interdisciplinary collaboration, ultimately clients and faculty members also benefit. Johnston-Walsh suggests that the exercise can be easily adapted based on issues and availability of community partners.
