DICKINSON LAW RECEIVES RECOGNITION AS BEST VALUE LAW SCHOOL FROM PRELAW MAGAZINE

October 16, 2019 — Dickinson Law was named a Best Value Law School in the fall 2019 issue of preLaw magazine—a ranking that recognizes law schools where graduates have excellent chances of passing the bar (Dickinson Law has the second-highest first attempt bar passage rate in Pennsylvania) and securing post-graduate employment without taking on significant debt.

“Dickinson Law is on a mission to help make law school affordable to students from all backgrounds, because creating more diversity in the profession is vital,” said Dean and Donald J. Farage Professor of Law Danielle M. Conway. “It’s not just about making law school reachable for people of color, but for those from all socioeconomic backgrounds.”

The Law School was also awarded an 'A' for its health law program and an 'A-' for its family law program. Dickinson Law earned a B+ for Practical Training, an 'A' for its trial advocacy and litigation program for the third consecutive year, and an 'A-' for its alternative dispute resolution program for the second consecutive year, which is part of its Certificate in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
