HONOR CODE

Academic integrity is the pursuit of scholarly activity in an open, honest and responsible manner. Academic integrity is a basic guiding principle for all academic activity at The Pennsylvania State University, and all members of the University community are expected to act in accordance with this principle. Consistent with this expectation, the Dickinson Law’s Honor Code exists to safeguard and promote the ideals of honor and integrity by prohibiting lying, cheating, stealing, and other dishonorable conduct of an academic nature.
Note: A unified Honor Code will be published soon that will apply to all Penn State Dickinson Law students enrolling in fall 2025 and beyond. Students who matriculated prior to fall 2025 are subject to the Honor Code from the location at which they entered—Carlisle or University Park. The Honor Code listed below applies to students who matriculated at the Carlisle location prior to fall 2025. The Honor Code for students who matriculated at the University Park location prior to fall 2025 is available here.
