GISELLE SANTIBAÑEZ-BANIA ELECTED TO BOARD OF NALSAP
May 2025 — Giselle Santibañez-Bania, Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Services at Penn State Dickinson Law, has been nominated for, and elected to, the board of the National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals (NALSAP) as the Northeast Region representative. Her term runs from 2025-2027.
Giselle has been involved with NALSAP in various roles for nearly a decade. She is currently serving on the planning committee for the 2025 NALSAP conference, which will take place in June 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. She has previously spoken at the 2024 NALSAP conference, and she will be presenting on three panels at the 2025 conference. Scholarship and speaking topics include: “Understanding and Connecting with Gen Z Students; Does Size Matter? Creating Community in Small vs. Large Law Schools,” “Loving Law School: A look at socialization and joy while studying the law,” and “Caring Without Crumbling: Recognizing and Preventing Compassion Fatigue.”
The National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals is the professional home for student affairs professionals who work in the law school environment. NALSAP supports its members by advocating on behalf of the profession, providing professional development opportunities (including an annual conference), offering resources on best practices, and fostering a community that enhances the personal and professional success of our members.
