DICKINSON LAW HOSTS 20TH ANNUAL JUDGES' NIGHT

February 2023 — Penn State Dickinson Law’s Phi Alpha Delta — Burr Chapter hosted its 20th annual Judges’ Night on Tuesday, February 28. Approximately 45 first-, second-, and third-year law students met members of the judiciary at this important networking event that provides students the opportunity to socialize with judges from both federal and state courts.

“As someone who wants to practice in the central Pennsylvania area post-graduation, I’m happy for the opportunity to meet a variety of judges from so many different chambers,” said Julia L. Martinez ’23. “This event is very appealing for 1Ls and 2Ls, but even as a 3L I think Judges’ Night is a great opportunity and can even serve as a nice setting to catch up with former employers.”

Second-year student Lucille Sherman indicated that by attending Judges’ Night, she was “hoping to gain more community connections and insight into working for the judiciary.”
