About Rodis
Alxis Rodis focuses her practice on commercial litigation. She represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters, in both the state and federal court systems, including disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, and trade secret misappropriation. Alxis also serves as a deputy co-chair for the LGBTQ @ Venable affinity group.
Prior to joining Venable, Alxis interned with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia under Magistrate Judge Lawrence R. Leonard. In law school, Alxis served as chief justice of the Moot Court team and as a member of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. As part of her work for the William & Mary Appellate and Supreme Court Clinic, she prepared appellate briefs and delivered an oral argument before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Rodis received her J.D., magna cum laude, from William & Mary School of Law in 2021 and her B.A. in Law and Policy and in Political Science from Dickinson College in 2018.
Penn State Dickinson Law and Penn State Law are reunifying to operate as Penn State University’s single law school, which will be known as Penn State Dickinson Law. While ABA approval for the reunification is pending, both schools are currently fully accredited. We submitted an application for acquiescence to operate as a single law school in July 2024 and plan to enroll a unified class in Fall 2025. Once reunification is complete, the separate faculties of each school will be members of the reunified Penn State Dickinson Law faculty.
