Biography

Dr. Robert Lennon serves as outpatient primary care through the Department of Family and Community Medicine, part of Penn State Health/Penn State College of Medicine. He is also an associate professor providing resident and medical student education in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Robert Lennon’s research interests include prebiotics, osteopathic manipulation, global health engagement, bioethics and using folate derivatives to reduce oxidative stress in living tissue.

His latest research work includes:

Developing a study of moral injury in physicians
Studying osteopathic manipulation as a treatment for chronic migraines
A grant pending on a study evaluating multimedia educational modules as a method of teaching research topics
Writing manuscripts for a multisite intervention evaluating curriculum changes to increase resident research output
Point-of-care ultrasound efficacy
In-field training on humanitarian missions
