Biography
As Principal of Nesta Rose Consulting, Nesta N. Johnson works to advance well‐being and access to justice for children and families through education, publication, litigation, and agitation. Nesta provides professional education as a faculty-facilitator with the National LGBTQ+ Bar and American Bar Associations. She serves as Of Counsel to Diana Adams Law & Mediation PLLC, a New York-based firm extensively honored for its legal advocacy and educational work in service of LGBTQ+ families. In prior roles, Nesta advocated for LGBTQ+ family-friendly policy nationwide and represented over seven hundred children and youth in Family Court matters and related appeals in Brooklyn, New York. Nesta believes that every family deserves justice and that every child deserves to be loved, just the way they are. Lived expertise informs her work.
