Biography

Mireille Rebeiz is Chair of Middle East Studies & Associate Professor at Dickinson College. She is a scholar and educator with experience in International Law, Middle East Studies, and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies. She earned two doctoral degrees: S.J.D. in International Law and Ph.D. in Francophone Studies. Dr. Rebeiz’s research is interdisciplinary; it focuses on international law and terrorism, issues of statehood, armed conflicts and State and Non-State actors, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, and gender and sexuality. She is particularly interested in the Middle East and North Africa.
