Biography
Lauren D’Alessandro, Esquire is a full-time Divorce Hearing Officer serving the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County as well as an adjunct professor for Penn State Dickinson Law. Prior to becoming a Divorce Hearing Officer, Ms. D’Alessandro exclusively practiced family law in various capacities. Her initial position was founding her own practice in Bucks County before accepting employment with the Greater Harrisburg YWCA as a victim advocate for victims of domestic violence. Ms. D’Alessandro has also volunteered as a victim advocate for several legal aid organizations and women’s shelters. Regarding her education, Ms. D’Alessandro obtained a B.A. in Law and Society from American University School of Public Affairs, a J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, a L.L.M. in Taxation from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and a M.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania Western University.
