Biography

Danny is a Senior Assistant Public Defender with Cumberland County where she represents clients at all stages of the criminal court process from preliminary hearings through appeals. She graduated from Warner Pacific College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a minor in Elementary Education. Danny received her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law in 2021. Danny was one of Penn State Dickinson Law’s first students to earn a certificate in Civil Rights, Equal Protection and Social Justice.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Danny spent eighteen years in the classroom as an elementary and middle school teacher. Her experience as an educator has shaped her approach as an attorney. She utilizes her prior skills to educate both clients and juries.

In 2024, Danny was one of fourteen attorneys selected to participate in the Public Defender’s Association of Pennsylvania’s first ever year-long Leadership Academy. She was invited to return as a presenter in 2025. Also in 2025, The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties chose Danny to teach a session focused on legal rights at a one-day conference for students who were aging out of their programming.
