ADMITTED STUDENT OPEN HOUSE AGENDA
FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2020
8:00 A.M. TO 5:30 P.M.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE FOR ADMITTED STUDENTS: Penn State health and safety officials continue to closely monitor the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). As of today’s date, Dickinson Law plans to hold our March 20 and April 3 Admitted Student Open Houses as scheduled. Because we value the health and well-being of the Dickinson Law community as well as visitors to our campus, out of an overabundance of caution, Dickinson Law asks admitted students and guests exhibiting signs and symptoms of illness to please refrain from attending the March 20 and April 3 Admitted Student Open Houses. Dickinson Law is actively exploring virtual attendance options for both Admitted Student Open House events and will share more information as it becomes available. Should anything change regarding our upcoming open houses—including the option for virtual participation—Dickinson Law will post updates on this webpage and the Class of 2023 Facebook group in addition to emailing or texting updates to admitted students.
NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR ATTENDEES!
If you’ll be arriving Thursday evening, plan to join us for Third Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Dickinson Law’s Ridge Commons. A monthly tradition at Dickinson Law, Third Thursdays are a time for all members of our community to put aside work and catch up with one another. Relax and socialize with our current students, faculty, and staff. All admitted students and their guests are welcome. Registration is not required for Third Thursday.
Additionally, if you’ll be staying in Carlisle through Saturday, March 21, you’re invited to attend the Second Annual Women of Color Summit featuring Dickinson Law Dean and Donald J. Farage Professor of Law Danielle M. Conway, and Dickinson Law students Bre Bennett (’21) and Maame Boateng (’22). This free event will take place on Saturday, March 21 at noon at Dickinson College (Althouse Hall, Room 106). Lunch will be provided. RSVP is required.
