CARLISLE, Pa.—Following her recent election as president of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), Penn State Dickinson Law and School of International Affairs Dean and Donald J. Farage Professor of Law Danielle M. Conway delivered her President’s Message during the AALS House of Representatives meeting at the AALS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, La.

Conway introduced her theme for the 2027 Annual Meeting: “Emancipate. Academic. Freedom.” The speech received a standing ovation from members of the House and a large group of Penn State Dickinson Law faculty, staff, students, and alumni who attended to support Conway.
