Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson serves on Association of Academic Support Educators panel
She shared strategies and resources to support law faculty in securing funding for their scholarly work
CARLISLE, Pa.—Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson, assistant professor of law and director of bar preparation and academic success, recently served as a panel presenter for the Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE) on the topic of scholarship funding. In this national forum, Jackson shared strategies and resources to support law faculty in securing both internal and external funding for their scholarly work.
Professor Jackson’s service extends beyond the presentation. She is a member of the AASE Executive Committee and currently serves as co-chair of the AASE Scholarship Committee, where she leads efforts to expand opportunities for legal educators to develop, publish, and fund impactful scholarship.
Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to advancing the field of academic success and bar preparation while also contributing to the professional development of colleagues nationwide.
Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson brings both legal practice experience and the practice of applying cognitive psychology in the classroom to her teaching. She collaborates with faculty to incorporate the learning concept of spaced repetition throughout Penn State Dickinson Law’s curriculum while training law students for the rigors of law school, the bar exam, and the practice of law. Professor Jackson teaches the Fundamental Skills for the Bar Exam course and Penn State Dickinson Law’s summer supplemental bar preparation program. Professor Jackson provides individual academic success counseling to students. Prior to joining Penn State Dickinson Law, Professor Jackson taught courses and served as the director of bar preparation and support for North Carolina Central University School of Law and served as director of legal education for BARBRI, Inc.
