Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson serves as a panelist for National Black Law Students Association program
Virtual panel “Maintain Your Mental: Healthy Minds in Law School and Beyond” featured interdisciplinary professionals
CARLISLE, Pa.—Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson, director of academic success and bar passage at Penn State Dickinson Law, recently served as a panelist for the National Black Law Students Association’s “Maintain Your Mental: Healthy Minds in Law School and Beyond” program on September 10, 2025.
This national virtual panel featured interdisciplinary professionals discussing strategies for avoiding burnout, managing stress, and cultivating sustainable habits to support law students’ mental health. Professor Jackson contributed her expertise on academic success and bar readiness, highlighting the importance of balancing rigorous legal education with intentional well-being practices.
Her participation reflects Dickinson Law’s commitment to preparing practice-ready graduates while fostering resilience, equity, and holistic student support.
Professor Titichia Mitchell Jackson brings both legal practice experience and the practice of applying cognitive psychology in the classroom to her teaching. She collaborates with faculty to incorporate the learning concept of spaced repetition throughout Penn State Dickinson Law’s curriculum while training law students for the rigors of law school, the bar exam, and the practice of law. Professor Jackson teaches the Fundamental Skills for the Bar Exam course and Penn State Dickinson Law’s summer supplemental bar preparation program. Professor Jackson provides individual academic success counseling to students. Prior to joining Penn State Dickinson Law, Professor Jackson taught courses and served as the director of bar preparation and support for North Carolina Central University School of Law and served as director of legal education for BARBRI, Inc.
