Professor Lara B. Fowler moderates Ag Progress Days Panel
“Powering Pennsylvania: Building a Unified Biogas Strategy Across Sectors” brought together participants in a recent study trip to Denmark
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.— Professor Lara B. Fowler recently moderated a panel broadcast on PCN during Ag Progress Days. “Powering Pennsylvania: Building a Unified Biogas Strategy Across Sectors” brought together participants from a recent study trip to Denmark that included Fowler along with people in higher education, employees at Pennsylvania agencies, and those working in the biogas industry.
The panel, held in Rock Springs, Pa., focused on anaerobic digestion and biogas. Fowler introduced the discussion by noting, “It was really impressive to see a whole system across the country where now 40% of their natural gas is coming from biogas. So, it’s really got us thinking about what’s the potential strategy here in Pennsylvania? What do we learn from doing that?”
The discussion lasted about 30 minutes. You can watch the panel here.
