Professor Andrea J. Martin selected as ISGAP–Cambridge Scholar-in-Residence

CARLISLE, PA—Professor Andrea J. Martin has been selected as a Scholar-in-Residence for The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) Cambridge Summer Institute for the Development of Curriculum in Critical Contemporary Antisemitism Studies, to be held at the Moller Institute, Churchill College, University of Cambridge, from July 26 to August 7, 2026. The Institute brings together leading scholars and emerging voices to engage in interdisciplinary analysis of the global rise in antisemitism and to advance the development of critical contemporary antisemitism studies as a recognized academic field.

As a fellow, Martin will participate in high-level academic workshops focused on mapping, decoding, and responding to modern manifestations of antisemitism across legal, political, and institutional contexts.

This selection recognizes Martin’s growing scholarly contributions to the emerging field of Jewish Legal Studies. Participation in the Institute will further support Martin’s research and teaching by contributing to the development of curriculum and scholarship addressing contemporary antisemitism and by fostering collaboration with an international network of scholars dedicated to advancing this critical area of study.

The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy is a global, interdisciplinary research center dedicated to the academic study of antisemitism.


Professor Andrea J. Martin’s research focuses on constitutional law, anti-discrimination law, and both historical and current antisemitism. Through her work in the developing field of Jewish Legal Studies, she creates legal frameworks and promotes strategies to influence policies aimed at combating antizionism and other modern forms of Jew-hatred and protecting civil rights.
