"Food for Thought" lecture series to feature Carla Pratt on Sept. 11

Carla PrattCarla Pratt, associate dean for diversity and inclusion, professor of law, and Nancy J. LaMont Faculty Scholar at Dickinson Law, will present "Using Social Dominance Theory to Understand Why Anti-Discrimination Law Fails to Achieve Racial Equality" from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at Penn State's Africana Research Center at University Park.

The lecture is the first in the Africana Research Center’s 2017-18 "Food for Thought" series. These free monthly talks are open to the public, and free pizza and refreshments will be provided.
