Associate Dean Daryl Lim featured in Privacy, AI, and Tech Works Worth Your Attention
Lim’s article ‘Polyphonic AI Regulation’ is highlighted
CARLISLE, PA—H. Laddie Montague Jr. Chair in Law and Associate Dean for Research and Strategic Partnerships Daryl Lim’s article, “Polyphonic AI Regulation,” was featured in Solove's Privacy, AI, and Tech Works Worth Your Attention, a curated selection of recent scholarship on privacy, artificial intelligence, and technology. The article appears in Volume 32 of the George Mason Law Review.
In “Polyphonic AI Regulation,” Lim develops a framework for governing generative AI across antitrust, copyright, the right of publicity, and information privacy. Rather than treating these bodies of law as interchangeable responses to AI-related concerns, the article argues that each should address the harms it is best equipped to handle while operating within a coordinated regulatory structure. The article builds on Lim’s scholarship on artificial intelligence (AI), intellectual property, competition, and privacy.
