A Dickinson Law Favorite:
The Community feel: Dickinson Law feels like a home away from home.
Why Dickinson Law?:
I chose Dickinson Law because of its faculty. Each faculty member has a vested interest in each student to ensure we all succeed.
During my time at Dickinson Law, I've had the unique opportunity to assist probono attorneys at the local men’s shelter. There, we helped men who were homeless and facing various legal issues but could not afford to seek legal counsel. This experience allowed me to hone in on my desire to assist those who are most vulnerable and cannot afford adequate legal representation.
My favorite course thus far has been Legal Argument and Factual Persuasion because it allowed me to develop my skill of interpreting legislation.
Advice for Prospective Law Students:
Don’t let the idea of law school overwhelm you. If law school is your passion, pursue it no matter what.
Something You Love About Carlisle:
Carlisle is great. From walking in the many parks or on nearby trails to attending the many festivals held throughout the year, there is always something to do.
On Choosing A Law School:
I wish I had known that a smaller town would make for a better law school experience.
