Janene M. Druck

Druck graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Psychology, and had a rewarding career in human services. She worked variously as therapeutic support for children with psychological and behavioral disorders, a program instructor and group home manager for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a case manager and regional program coordinator for a foster care agency in North Carolina, and a recruiter for a foster care agency in Pennsylvania. After 13 years in the workforce, and with the support of her family, Druck decided to pursue a different path, and enrolled full-time as a non-traditional student at Penn State Dickinson Law.

During law school, Druck completed a year-long externship with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, earned recognition as a Miller Public Interest Advocate through her work with Mid Penn Legal Services, volunteered with the Bethesda Mission Legal Intake Clinic and Wills for Heroes, and participated in the William W. Lipsitt and Cumberland County American Inns of Court. She was published in the Law School’s Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation, and was the recipient of an IOLTA Summer Fellowship, an ALI-CLE Scholastic and Leadership Award, CALI Awards for Law and Medicine and Lawyering and Ethics for the Business Attorney, and the Laura Davis Jones Award for Excellence in Bankruptcy Law.
