Ángela Sánchez Gago

Professor Sánchez Gago earned her law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and went on to complete her LL.M. at Penn State Dickinson Law (Class of 2024). That journey from Madrid to Pennsylvania shaped her belief that legal education should know no borders.

As a first-generation law student, Professor Sánchez Gago knows firsthand what it means to navigate complex systems without a roadmap. That experience fuels her commitment to international education and to opening doors for those who, like her, are forging their own path in the legal world.

Beyond academia, Professor Sánchez Gago brings valuable real-world corporate experience to her teaching. She has worked with HP, Santander Bank, and Landwell-PwC, gaining firsthand insight into how law and business intersect across industries and borders. This professional background enriches her courses with practical context that goes well beyond the textbook.

For the past two years, Professor Sánchez Gago has been proud to be part of the Graduate and International Programs at Penn State Dickinson Law, bringing more than 12 years of teaching experience to a community of students from around the world. In this course, Professor Sánchez Gago looks forward to bridging language and law, helping students communicate with confidence in Spanish-speaking legal contexts.
