Biography

Adrianne Peters Sipes is the founder of Compass Estate Planning & Elder Law in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, a firm dedicated to providing comprehensive estate planning and elder law services. With more than fifteen years of experience in legal practice, Attorney Sipes focuses on assisting individuals and families with complex matters involving estate planning, long-term care planning, and asset protection. Her practice includes advising clients on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Trusts, Caregiver Agreements, and Medicaid planning and qualification.

Prior to founding Compass Estate Planning & Elder Law, Attorney Sipes was a partner and general practitioner with Lavelle & Peters, Ltd. and Radius Law Group, where she represented clients in a broad range of legal matters throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Attorney Sipes has been appointed by Governors Tom Wolf and Josh Shapiro to serve on the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Council, where she contributes to statewide policy initiatives related to aging services and long-term care. She is a frequent presenter on estate planning and long-term care topics and regularly provides educational workshops for community members, attorneys, healthcare providers, and other professionals.

She is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where she currently serves as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division and has served as a member of the House of Delegates for ten years. She previously served on the Board of Governors as Zone 11 Governor and is a past member of the American Bar Association House of Delegates and the Young Lawyers Division Council. Attorney Sipes has served as President of the Clearfield County Bar Association for the past five years.

In addition to her professional and academic work, Attorney Sipes is committed to community service and volunteers on the Boards of Directors for the Clearfield Soccer Association, Children’s Aid Society, and the St. Francis School Parent Teacher Organization.

Attorney Sipes earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the United States Supreme Court.
