About Adams

Astrika Adams currently serves as Assistant Chief Counsel for Environmental Law and Policy at the SBA Office of Advocacy, an independent federal government office that represents the views of small businesses, small organizations, and small governments in front of Congress, the White House, and Federal Agencies. Before joining the federal government, Ms. Adams served as General Counsel of Clarke Investments, an innovative private equity fund with assets in the energy sector that aimed to revitalize economically distressed communities by creating a market for mining reclamation and oil & gas abandonment services. She has also served as counsel to a carbon credit management company with interests in internationally vested carbon credits. Ms. Adams is a member of the ABA Section of Environmental, Energy, and Resources and a member of the Virginia State Bar.
