Professor Woolford teaches Construction and Surety Law. He is the founding member of Woolford Law, P.C., a law firm that provides legal services exclusively to the construction, design and real estate development industries. Professor Woolford is frequently involved in disputes regarding such matters as contract balance entitlement, acceleration, delay damages, inefficiency/productivity damages, change order disputes, improper liquidated damages assessments, bid protests and bid withdrawals and construction defect litigation. He regularly represents parties in construction disputes for amounts ranging from $50,000 to $50 million. Professor Woolford is widely experienced in representing construction professionals in state and federal courts, mediation and arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and disputes before the Board of Claims.
Professor Woolford is a frequent contributor to regional and national publications and regularly speaks on important construction-related topics. He also holds seminars for construction professionals on construction project documentation, effective contract negotiation, and other topics.
