About D'Alo>

Grace D’Alo is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and The Dickinson School of Law. Her legal experience includes working as Assistant Attorney General for the Pennsylvania Department of Education, managing attorney of Legal Services, Inc. and as a writing consultant/evaluator of the Commonwealth’s special education hearing officers and Special Education Appeal Panel members. She also served as the director of the Pennsylvania Special Education Mediation Service. In that capacity she trained mediators, conducted research in the field of conflict resolution, and worked extensively with national organizations to promote collaborative decision making in the school context.

She also taught legal methods and client counseling at Widener University School of Law for two years. She has written articles on mediation and special education and published in the Harvard Negotiation Law Review, Harvard Negotiation Journal, and Dickinson Law Review. She is also the author of “Women Who Ski with Dogs” published in My Life at the Gym.
